This weekend I tried to get to grips with social media — the sort of thing younger people do without thinking. Setting up a “professional” Instagram with a link that magically updates everything else felt like a major achievement.

Entertainment came in two extremes. First, I laughed far too much watching the police clamp cars lined up on double yellows outside the Catholic church. The sun clearly wasn’t shining on the righteous. Later, I balanced that with the new F1 film — predictable plot, yes, but great fun and amazing cinematography.
